BSIC Islamic Banking

Retail Banking

Retail banking offers regular financial services, such as personal loans, mortgages, and checking and savings accounts, directly to individual customers. Often referred to as consumer or personal banking, it enables ordinary individuals to borrow money, make payments, and handle money securely.

Corporate Banking

A bank's corporate banking branch focuses on large loans, cash management, and risk control while offering financial services to governments, institutions, and large corporations. It is not the same as retail banking, which provides home loans and personal accounts to regular individuals.

E-Banking

Electronic banking, or e-banking, is the process of handling financial matters using computer networks and the internet. Automated teller machines (ATMs), mobile banking apps, and online banking are important examples. It enables you to manage your finances without physically visiting a bank.

Partnerships

Over the years, the Group has formed a strategic partnership with financial institutions such as West African Development Bank (WADB), African Development Bank (ADB), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), The African Fund for Security and Economic Cooperation (FAGACE).

There is no limit with us

Government’s stake

The Government of The Gambia is a shareholder in BSIC bank. It is therefore the people’s bank and we are fully committed to supporting economic growth and sustainable development. It is noteworthy to highlight that BSIC Bank is the only Investment and commercial bank in The Gambia.

BSIC BANK GAMBIA

BSIC Gambia Ltd is so far the only investment and commercial bank in the Gambia banking industry. This is our key point of difference, and we are proud to be different from other banks. We are also different because we run for economic development and for the benefit of our members (26 CEN SAD Community Countries) rather than private shareholders.

So, when it comes to products and services, we aim to provide varieties as we understand that people bank for different reasons. Some people want instant cash, some require a lot of flexibility, and some prefer Islamic banking. Some people want to manage their accounts in different ways, via the telephone, internet, ATM, or over the counter.

With no private shareholder involvement, we concentrate on our customers while making their money work for them mutually. BSIC Gambia Ltd proudly belongs to the people of The Gambia.
